First 50Mbps Internet in Malaysia

Time dotcom (TdC) recently introduced the fastest Internet speed available to consumer today, the Time Fibre Broadband that offers speed of up to a whooping 50Mbps. Unlike wireless technology or copper centric or hybrid networks, fibre optics technology can offer a more stable and secure Internet connection and is able to carry more than 1000 times more information than the same sized copper cable.

Time Fibre Broadband is ovvered at competitive rates ranging from RM149 to RM329 for 2Mbps to 10Mpbs.

War for Cybertron Optimus, Megatron & Starscream

 As you can see in the trailer in the previous post, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream and the other Transformers have completely new designs in Transformers: War for Cybertron but still mantain some Generation 1 looks. New Transformers Game

Alright. No more secret. The new Transformers game is called Transformers: War for Cybertron. This game has its own story and not related to the Michael Bay movies but still have many references to the original Transformers cartoon series.. The game would stand on its own and Hasbro also stated that the game is a new Transformers canon and already have planned toys series for it.

The press release revealed the game will function as an origin story for the Transformers and will feature separate campaigns for the Autobots and Decepticons. The setting is the planet Cybertron before contact is made with the planet Earth. The plot start during the Decepticon campaign and continues to the Autobot campaign, but players have the liberty to choose which campaign to play first.

The game will also feature on-line co-op and head-to-head multiplayer. Developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision, the game would be released for platforms Microsoft Windows, XBox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Nintendo DS. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 3, so expect breathtaking visuals and graphics similar to Batman: Arkham Asylum and Gears of War 2.

The expected release date is June 22, 2010.

A New Start

The new semester has started. Today is the first day and classes have already begun. I'm very glad to see my friends back again. This semester, I aim to do better in my study than previous semesters, especially last semester, which is a little letdown to me. I need to focus more (and transform!; hehehe) on my study to achieve it as this semester and the upcoming ones would be more challenging to me. To all 'UTPians', especially my coursemates, I wish "Happy New January 2010 Semester!". Good luck in your study throughout the semester.

I'm Back!

It had been two months after my last post in 2009. It's 2010 and I'm back updating my very own blog.

I'm back in campus earlier since yesterday. My new semester would start next week, so there's plenty of time for me to prepare myself for the new semester. And as I expected my last semester result is quite low compared to my foundation semester. I'm not quite happy with the results but I still manage to get a pointer above 3.0 though.

I made this blog just for fun and its contents mostly focus on my interests. Technology, computers, Transformers, mecha animes, etc. are my main interests. I would also post something about my life as a student in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). If you got suggestions for the blog contents, please let me know.
As you may have noticed, I've updated my blog. I've replaced my old blog header (banner) by a more attractive one that I made myself (using just my novice Photoshop skills). And about the new image at the right corner, I would tell more about it in the next post; Here's a hint: new Optimus Prime in new Transformers franchise. I would also make more changes to the blog design in the future.
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions on this blog.
