New DOTM Trailer is Coming Soon

A new trailer of Transformers: Dark of the Moon is coming soon. Director Michael Bay confirmed that the new trailer is coming with the movie Fast Five. Nelson, admin of Shoot for the Edit, posted a note clarifying the exact release date of the trailer, including when it will be available online. As a bonus he also provided information on the internet release of the trailer.

Fast 5 [w]ill be in theaters April 29.
The TF3 trailer will be available on Apple Trailers on 7PM (Eastern Time) on April 28th.

A cool promo image of Transformers: Dark of the Moon has popped out in the Internet recently. The image shows Optimus Prime with gun and blade extended. In the background, you can see a devasted Chicago invaded by Decepticon warships. Hmm... this image apparently want to shows us that the stakes are getting higher in this movie.

 Meanwhile, there is a new image of Sentinel Prime in CGI has been leaked too.

Moon Conspiracy Theory Spin in DOTM

It has been a while since my last post. Well, that's simply because there is not much interesting piece of news regarding Dark of the Moon lately. Anyway, we got one now.

After seeing the teaser trailer of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, we all know that the movie plot has something to do with the moon landing. Recently, the producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura spoke to the Associated Press about how the moon landing ties into the movie plot and add a spin to moon conspiracy theories

No, this story involves what Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were doing during those 21 minutes of radio and video silence on the Apollo 11 mission. You think they were turning over rocks and drinking Tang? Think again. Turns out the two astronauts were actually bouncing over to the dark side of the moon, investigating a crashed alien space ship that turned out to be — yes — a massive Transformer robot.

"We give you a whole new reason why the moon landing actually did happen," says Lorenzo di Bonaventura, producer of the Transformers movies. "Everyone was right. The conspiracy existed. It was just a different one than people thought."

"With moon conspiracies, there's a contradiction at work," says di Bonaventura. "There's a deep-seated romanticism about the moon with the poetry and romantic settings. Then you have this notion that there's this gigantic lie propagated about what may be 20th Century man's greatest single achievement."

Dark of the Moon New Images

It's been quite a while since my last post. Anyway, we got three new images of Transformers Dark of the Moon released today. Apparently, these images are screenshots of various scenes from the film.

The first one shows Lennox and his NEST team in a fight in the film. The second image shows Shia running away from something in an office. And the last one features Shia Rosie in a scene near a bus. Rumors say that a trailer will be coming in mid-April, hence its quite make sense why these images are released.

Sentinel Prime and Optimus Prime DOTM CGI First Look

Now, we get to see the very first Sentinel Prime CGI robot mode appearance. The images are from the April issue of Empire Magazine. I gotta say, he looks cool with his big blade despite the 'old man ' appearance. We also get to see Optimus Prime with his new big gun as seen in the teaser trailer before. Other than that, Optimus appears to have additional armor on his chest and his arm is a little bit different than the previous movies. Anyway, both Sentinel and Optimus looks good together in the image.
